Ingredients :

  • 2 French Bread (Hard Crusty Bread)
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • Basil (Tulsi) Leaves
  • Salt To Taste
  • Black Pepper To Taste
  • Olive Oil
  • Oregano

Method :

Cut the french bread diagonally in slices. Arrange them in a baking tray and sprinkle some olive oil on the slices. Bake them at 180 degrees centigrade for two minutes (till it turns golden brown) and turn it over.

Cut the tomatoes and capsicum in cubes and mix in a salad bowl. Add some finely chopped green chilli and basil. Add salt, pepper and olive oil. Mix everything and leave aside for half an hour.

Put  spoonful of tomato mixture on each bread slice and sprinkle oregano and olive oil and bake for a minute or two.

Serve hot as apetizer.
