Tandoori Paneer Pizza


For pizza dough

  • 2 Cup all purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 Teaspoon oil
  • 1 sachet Eno
  • Lukewarm water to knead
  • Salt To Taste

For pizza sauce

  • 2 Teaspoon Oil
  • 2 Tomato Puree
  • 2 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Black Pepper
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Mixed Italian herbs to taste
  • Salt To Taste

Tandoori masala

  • 1/2 Cup Coriander Seeds (Whole Dhania)
  • 1/4 Cup Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
  • 1/4 Cup Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper Corns
  • 5-6 Dry Kashmiri Red Chillies
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

For Toppings

  • Tomatoes
  • Capsicum
  • Paneer
  • Cheese
  • Coriander



Pizza dough

  • mix everything together and knead soft dough.
  • Rest for 15 mins. Knead again and divide into 4 equal balls.
  • Roll out thin base and prick with fork.
  • Lightly roast on both sides and keep it aside.

Pizza sauce

  • heat oil in a pan and add everything to make sauce.
  • Boil it until it becomes thick sauce consistency.

Tandoori masala

  • Dry roast all the spices until fragrant.
  • Cool down to room temperature and coarsely grind it.

Making the Pizza

  • Cut paneer in cubes and marinate with tandoori masala and bit of oil.
  • Grill paneer until roasted.
  • Heat pan and put lightly roasted pizza base on medium flame.
  • Apply sauce on the base and add topping of your choice,
  • tandoori paneer, fresh chopped coriander and grated cheese.
  • Cover the pan with lid for 3-4 minutes or until the base is nice and crisp.
  • Cut and serve immediately.
