Jain Paneer Pinwheels


For Dough

  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 2 Tablespoon Semolina Flour (Rava)
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil
  • Salt to taste

For Filling

  • 1 Cup Paneer (Cottage Cheese) (Grated)
  • 1/2 Cup Cheese (Cheddar or Home-Made Cheese) (Grated)
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Capsicum (Bell Peppers)
  • 2 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 2 Tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya)
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mango Powder (Aamchur Powder)
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • Salt to taste


  • Mix all Dough ingredients and knead to a soft dough using water.
  • Cover with wet cloth n keep aside for 1/2 an hour
  • Mix all filling ingredients and divide in 3 equal parts.
  • Divide Dough in 3 equal balls and roll thin.
  • Apply one part of the filling onto 1 rolled disc.
  • Tightly start rolling from one end to finish at other end having a tight roll. Cut into 2mm disc n slightly flatten it.
  • Repeat the above with the other 2 filling and doughs.
  • Heat oil in High Flame and deep fry these pinwheels.
  • Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup orĀ Green Chutney
