Serving : 2-3 Person

Ingredients :

  • 1 Cup Chickpea Flour (Besan)
  • 1 Cup Yogurt (Curd)
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Salt To Taste

Method :

  • Take 1 Cup of Yogurt in a bowl and warm it in microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Add 1 Cup Besan, 3 Cups Water, Salt, Turmeric Powder and Red Chilli Powder in it.
  • Mix everything nicely with a hand blender and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in Pan and add Mustard Seeds.
  • Once it starts crackling, add Jeera.
  • Add the Besan and Yogurt mixure and Stir Well.
  • Let the Mixure cook till it starts Boiling.
  • The Besan will start thickening, take care of the boiling bubbles.
  • After 2-3 minutes of boiling with constant stirring, remove the besan from the flame.

Serve besan hot with Bhakri, Chapatti or Rice.
