Paneer Tikka Masala
Serving : 2 Person
- 250 g Paneer (Cottage Cheese) Cubes
- 1 cup Mixed Peppers Cubes
- 2 tbsp Fresh Cream
- 1 tsp Freshly Chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Kasuri Methi (Dreied Fenugreek Leaves)
- 1 tsp Oil
- Salt To Taste
For Paste : Soak the dry red chillies in water for half an hour.(alternatively just microwave red chillies in water for a minute, so that the chillies become soft enough to grind it). Dry roast dhana and jeera and keep it aside. Mix chillies,dhana, jeera and soonth, crush it into paste using some water if needed, the paste is ready to use.
Heat oil in pan, add the above paste and let it cook for a minute. Add chopped coriander leaves,kasuri methi and salt. Add fresh cream and mix everything into a smooth paste . Bring it to a boil on medium flame. Add paneer cubes and peppers into this marinade and let it coat evenly.
Let this marinade for atleast half an hour. You can then grill this paneer on a tawa(hot griddle) or oven till it becomes dry and excess cream is evapourated. It tastes good if it is slightly burnt from sides(it gives distinct smoked flavour).
Serve hot with some lemon juice and chaat masala sprinkled on it.
