Serving : 5 Frankies

Ingredients :

For Tortillas :

  • 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour(Maida)
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Salt To Taste

For Rolls :

  • 2 Raw Bananas
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Boiled Green Peas
  • 1 Green Chilly
  • 1 tsp Chopped Coriander
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pinch of Dry Mango (Aamchoor) Powder
  • Corn Flour
  • Butter

For Salad :

  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cucumber
  • 1 tsp Chopped Coriander
  • Salt To Taste
  • Chaat Masala To Taste

To Serve :

Method :

For Tortillas : Mix both flours, salt and oil and knead a semi stiff dough with water as needed. Divide the dough in 5 equal balls and roll out thin, flat chapati from each ball. Roast the rotis slightly from both sides on hot tawa and keep it aside.

For Salad : Mix all the ingredients and keep aside.

For Rolls : Boil raw bananas in a cooker (around 3 whistles). Peel the skin of bananas and add shredded cabbage, boiled peas, chopped chilly, coriander, salt and dry mango powder. Mix everything and then divide into 5 equal parts. Make roll out of each part and then roll into corn flour and shallow fry using butter on hot tawa(alternatively rolls can be deep fried). Keep the rolls aside after it turns golden brown on all sides.

To Serve : Apply green chutney on tortillas, place 1 spoon of salad, 1 roll, grated cheese and roll the tortilla to give the shape of franky. Grill the franky on hot tawa using butter so that it becomes crisp. Cover one end with tissue napkin and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
