Khatta Urid

Serving : 2 Person

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Whole Black Urid
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard (Rai) Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin (Jeera) Seeds
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander-Cumin(Dhaniya – Jeera) Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric (Haldi) Powder
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 tbsp curd/Yogurt

Method :

Wash and soak whole black urid for atleast 4-6 hours. Pressure cook it(around 3-4 whistles). Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seds and cumin seeds.Add urid with salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and coriander-cumin powder. Add warm curd and bring everything to boil.

Seve hot with rice.
