Eggless Chocolate Ice Cream

Jain Eggless Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Fresh Cream
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 Kitkat Bar (or any other chocolate of your choice)
  • 1/2 tsp Coffee Powder (optional)

Method :

Mix all the ingredients in a blender and blend for around two minutes, just enough to dissolve the sugar. Pour the mixture in an air tight container and put it in the freezer for at least 3-4 hours. Remove the container from the freezer and churn it once again with a blender (for more creamier results). Cover the lid properly and leave the ice cream to set properly in the freezer (approx 6-8 hours).

After the ice-cream is set properly, scoop it out in a cup and enjoy the desert.

Tip : You can replace chocolate and coffee with fruits of your choice like bananas, mangoes or strawberries to make ice-cream of your choice. Just add 3-4 drops of vanilla essence along with fruits to get that extra flavour.

      1. It turned out just excellent!!! Better than any store bought ice cream!! My kids and husband loved it!! I’m now going to make many more flavors with your recipe. Chocolate, choc chip, mango, coffee, vanilla and I want to try black currant too as my older daughter loves it. Any suggestions?

      2. nice, do keep ur vomments coming in, it encourages me a lot. for suggestions you can add various biscuits(hide n seek, bourbon) and choc(ferrero rocher) etc for different flavours.

    1. Hi Megha,
Sorry for the late reply. You can use any cream, double cream males your ice cream creamier but if you are diet consious, then you can uae single cream as well. I didnt melt the choclate since I like somethong cruncy bitein while having icecream, if you melt down the choclate, taste will besame just a smooth icecream.

    1. Hi nikitha,
Fresh cream is the cream which u get as a layer on top of cold milk. I have not used that for making ice cream but you can try and let me know.
      Thanks
